Cruisin' with Mickey - Post 3

Ok, so Week 3 is almost done and it was Vision/Catalogue this week. I had already set up my user a while back, but I had never followed anyone. This was quite an easy process. Now, I can find users with similar interests that I can borrow from their shelves!

Ok, now back to me!

I've been on 4 cruises and have enjoyed every single one of them! The adventure starts at the port, in Cap Canaveral, where you are welcomed by Mickey and his gang. The sign in process is pretty painless (considering all the paper work was filed online before leaving for Florida). Once your group is called in, you walk under the Mickey ears, you pose for a group picture and you step on the boat. Your name is mentionned on the speakers and the staff and other guests applaud. The Disney adventure begins! From the first moment you walk on, you are treating like a Queen/King/Princess/Prince.

Cruisin' with Mickey - Post 2

So this weeks thing to do is tweeting. I'm not sure I'm liking it that much. I guess playing around with it will help me discover it. Ok. So enough work. It's me time again.

Cruising...

The Disney Cruise Line has 4 different cruise ships: Wonder, Magic, Fantasy and Dream. I've been on 2 of the 4 ships: Wonder and Dream. The Wonder is a legacy cruise ship and is my favorite. The Dream is the 3rd ship of their fleet. This massive ship can hold up to 4000 guests plus staff.

Happy cruisin'!

Cruisin' with Mickey - Post 1

What? We have to create a blog for work? And we can blog about what we want? First things first: The setup was relatively easy - maybe it should be stated in the instructions that a gmail account cannot be created on a staff computer. Now, let's talk about me.

Well, for all who know me, they know that I'm a Mickey fan - even more - a Disney Cruise Line fan. So, let's begin to blog. How did I become a fan? I was dreaming about taking a vacation in a nice warm place (with the kids - of course!) but I didn't know where to start. All kids want to go to Disney at least one - and so did I. My daughter at the time was shy of 3 years old and I couldn't even consider going to the parks. I found during my research that Disney had a cruise line. I booked and had a blast.

Now I'm addicted.
