Cruisin' with Mickey - Weeks 10 and 11
Wow, wow, wow - I really like stumbleupon. That tool and make you lose track of time - but enjoy every bit of it!
As for the most useful site, I would have to vote for the copyright information. I guess I didn't know all the rules for using other peoples work. That is the most that suprised me.
Will I use this for work and personal? Maybe - stumbleupon will be my tool when I have time available to extend my knowledge - personal or work.
This training was certainly fascinating. I'm glad all staff had the chance to have equal training that can be used as much for working as for personal time.
I ran into a rut near the middle when it was the copyright information. Once I had that done, the rest went much better.
Cruisin' with Mickey is now done the training. Kuddos to the NB23 team!

Cruisin' with Mickey - Week 9
Apps! Oh, this is an easy one. I own a Kobo, a Blackberry tablet and a couple Androids - I know about apps! I've already added apps, used the libraries' app, read books. I've got this one down!
Week 10, here I come!

Cruisin' with Mickey - Week 8
Scoop.it, Twitter Connections, Articles - oh my!
I can see the use for Scoop.it - but I'm not sure if I personnaly want to keep track of these types of articles. Call me a bookmark gal - I only use a couple computers that I have to reach important information - so I'm not sure it will be very practical for me...
Week 8 - DONE!

Cruisin' with Mickey - weeks 6 and 7
Surprise - nothing to do for week 6! Now for week 7 - using an embedded video. As requested, here is the Youtube video that was requested.

I'm not sure this is good for copyright - but I guess a mention to PBS and Mister Rogers should be stated.

Cruisin' with Mickey - Post 4
So after a few weeks break, I've decided to continue this blog. After reading what I'm allowed to post, I removed pictures that I wasn't supposed to use. I found a nice blue sky that I can share with you.

Cruisin' with Mickey - Post 3
Ok, so Week 3 is almost done and it was Vision/Catalogue this week. I had already set up my user a while back, but I had never followed anyone. This was quite an easy process. Now, I can find users with similar interests that I can borrow from their shelves!
Ok, now back to me!
I've been on 4 cruises and have enjoyed every single one of them! The adventure starts at the port, in Cap Canaveral, where you are welcomed by Mickey and his gang. The sign in process is pretty painless (considering all the paper work was filed online before leaving for Florida). Once your group is called in, you walk under the Mickey ears, you pose for a group picture and you step on the boat. Your name is mentionned on the speakers and the staff and other guests applaud. The Disney adventure begins! From the first moment you walk on, you are treating like a Queen/King/Princess/Prince.

Dreaming on the job!
